Energy and Safety Audit

Purpose of the Audit/inspection is to review the condition of existing Electrical Installation & Systems & Identify power quality issues within the system & the Hazard potentials.
Recommend & suggest the preventive Measures to eliminate /minimise losses due to poor power quality & the Fire & Electrical Hazard potential.

Energy Audit :

Site activity will cover Electricity bill analysis, plant activities, month-wise current and historical energy and related production data, Internal metering data, Evaluation of collected information, Other energy data Collection which is available with the client, Conduct onsite measurements and performance surveys using portable and panel mounted instruments (if available), Identification & evaluation of energy conservation opportunities.

Safety Audit:

1. Inspection of Electrically operated Equipment, Switchgears & Systems Identification of unsafe practices/unsafe installation/unsafe Connections/ risk of fires & Electrical Shock.
2. Identification of hazard Potential/ probable sources of hazards like fire, shock/accidents which may cause damage to the system/equipment / human being /Property.
3. Recommend /Suggest the measures to minimise the probabilities of fires/accidents/damage/Elect. shock.
4. To ensure the compliance of statutory requirements.

5. Review of single line diagram of Electrical Installation from HT/LT Receiving Station to the last sub power distribution panel/switchgear/ Equipment in Distribution System.

6. Testing (Random) of Earth Continuity at equipment’s & earth Pit /Earth to Neutral Potential checking. (Record verification)

7. Identifying Unbalance & over loading of cables/switchgears.

8. Inspection of all the distribution panels for its reliability.

9. Review /check the schedule/procedures for preventive maintenance of Electrical switchgears/equipment/systems.

10. Detailed Inspection/Audit report will be submitted with Observations & Recommendations.
